Bike sharing service

In the main park-and-ride car parks, thanks to an agreement between the city council and RideMovi, an enhanced fleet of bike sharing vehicles will be available to all fans arriving in Bologna. Specifically:

  1. Tanari: 100 bikes in the parking area
  2. Riva Reno: 100 bikes in the clearing above the parking area
  3. Aldo Moro Exhibition Centre car park: 100 bikes
  4. Furthermore, 200 additional bikes will be provided within the grounds of the Train Station at already active bicycle parking areas

Where to park your car

On Sunday 30 June only, parking will be allowed in some streets in the Certosa area to facilitate public access to the Colle della Guardia (San Luca) on foot.

More specifically, it will be possible to park (only on the right-hand side of the carriageway) along:

  • viale M. K. Gandhi,
  • via Tolmino,
  • via Pietro Nenni,
  • via Giuseppe Saragat,
  • via Palmiro Togliatti,
  • via Tadolini, via Sanzio,
  • via Cassini.

Parking facilities in the city will be available as usual.

Where to follow the tour from your camper van

Looking to follow the Tour in a camper van or caravan?

We have reserved 40 free Parking spaces for campers in the via montalbano car park, just a few metres from the summit of San Luca and the iconic Orfanelle climb.

The car park is available free of charge with compulsory reservation (subject to availability and in any case no later than 23 June 2024). For information and reservations write to sport@bolognawelcome.it

Public Transport

On the occasion of the arrival of the Tour de France stage on Sunday 30 June, public transport in Bologna will always be guaranteed, albeit with the necessary temporary route adjustments of the lines running on the roads affected by the cycling race. Over the next few weeks all measures related to line changes will be announced on the TPER website.
